Sarah has experience delivering talks for all sorts of audiences: historical societies, Civil War roundtables, scholars, and students. An engaging and practiced speaker, Sarah’s talks use humor and storytelling to make sure every audience member is drawn in. Past talks have been on topics including the Civil War era, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, the histories of disability and medicine, history research methods, and history career planning. Recently, Sarah has also given several talks on digital public history and history podcasting.
